Stillness & Surrender: A Sound + Acupuncture Experience
Step into a space where your nervous system can finally exhale.
This unique collaboration blends the gentle precision of auricular acupuncture with the immersive, restorative tones of Crystal Tones® Alchemy singing bowls.
We’ll begin with a brief, approachable introduction to auricular acupuncture, where Alice will share how specific points on the ear can support stress relief, emotional balance, and whole-body regulation. You’ll then have the option to receive your choice of small needles, beads, or seeds, allowing you to personalize your experience in a way that feels comfortable and aligned.
Acupuncture is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM); an intricate system of medicine that has existed for millennia. A TCM practitioner can choose from nearly 2000 different acupuncture points. The five needle protocol involves the same 5 points on the ear every time.
Five small needles, beads or seeds are placed in each ear for 15-45 minutes. Those who don’t want needles, can try small beads and seeds. You can sit in a chair or lie down while the needles are in place. This is done in a group setting.
Once your points are in place, Nicole will carry you into stillness through the soothing vibrations of crystal alchemy bowls, which is sound that supports the body in softening, the mind in quieting, and the heart in opening.
Below are images of the 5 points and what beads and seeds, or needles look like.

Alice Webb
Hi! I first moved to Tucson for school in 1997. After a brief hiatus, I was inevitably sucked back in to the Tucson vortex in 2005. I have been a nurse for 24 years, which is equivalent to 100 regular years.
I recently became a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My practice is rooted in finding ways to help everyone access mental well being and help to lessen socioeconomic barriers to mental health care. I am not a licensed acupuncturist, I am an auricular acupuncture technician. However, I can steer you towards many wonderful Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) Practitioners if you’d like.
I am grateful for wise people like Adrienne Maree Brown and Patricia Hersey that teach us rest is resistance-especially in troubling times. I am also especially grateful to longtime pal Kelly LeGendre, (Yong Shen Herbs), for introducing me to TCM in 2005.
