Ready to bring a little island spirit to the desert? Join us for Desert Strummers, a fun, welcoming ukulele group where laughter is encouraged, perfection is not, and music brings us together.

Whether you've never picked up a ukulele or you're looking to refresh the basics, we'll learn together in a relaxed and supportive environment. You'll discover how to tune your ukulele, read simple chord charts, practice easy strumming patterns, and sing along to familiar songs.

Meet Desert Strummers Facilitator Lisa Mandelbaum!
Lisa was born in New Jersey and has lived all over Northern California, finding her place in Tucson.  When Lisa is not performing music, improv and story-telling, she works as an acupuncturist and herbalist.
