In loving memory... Gale Odion
12/10/1953 – 5/9/2025
I found this photo of Gale on the internet. She was interviewed by alamy because she had 43 bird feeders in her yard!
It is with a heavy heart and deep reverence that I share the passing of a beloved member of our Restoration Room CommUNITY, Gale Odion.
Gale was more than a participant—she was a presence. A bright, soulful force who radiated kindness, curiosity, and a deep love for life and healing.
She graced nearly every gathering, showing up not just for herself, but in loving support of others. Gale understood the heart of the Restoration Room because she was part of its heart.
You could often find her sitting in the front garden chair, soaking in the breeze, watching the birds, quietly communing with nature. Inside, she delighted in simple rituals—drawing an oracle card, misting herself with essential oils, gently ringing the singing bowl.
She found joy here. She told me that this space helped lower her blood pressure and helped her feel truly good—body, mind, and spirit.
Gale was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years—a lifetime of service and compassion. She loved animals dearly, especially her cherished cat Princess. And after meeting my cat Bumpie, she never failed to ask how he was doing.
Her humor—always a little dry, a little sharp—kept us laughing, and her generous spirit made her a quiet but constant support in all we did.
I’ll miss her. We all will.
When I opened the Restoration Room, I knew that, in time, we would hold space not just for healing—but for goodbyes. Still, this goodbye came too soon.
Rest well, dear Gale.
May your soul be wrapped in peace,
your spirit free in the wind you loved to feel,
and your legacy of care and kindness live on in every breath we take together in this sacred space.
We love you. We thank you. And we miss you already. 💗
