Sleep is Yours.
ZZZZZZZZZZ….. Sleep is an absolute priority for your health and wellbeing!
When I was a younger human, I’d often say, “I’ll sleep when I’m dead.”
I’m a little embarrassed by that today.
Honestly, that lack of sleep left me feeling depleted and exhausted the next day, especially after a 12-hour ICU shift, but I never wanted to admit it! I could do. it. all!
When you were younger did you feel that way too? Like it was a badge of honor to live life without rest? UGHHH!
As I’ve aged, and moved into post-menopause, I’ve realized that sleep offers us a chance to rest, to refuel, to regenerate and renew our bodies at the cellular level and that a lack of deep rest leaves me feeling terrible! Unfocused, no patience, irritable, tired, hungry, etc. etc.
Plus, many of our roles, like being a mom, or caring for parents, your work, and being a grandma or auntie can be stressful, overwhelming and don’t allow for set routines from day to day.
Just living can cause a loss of ease and restoration.
And we can support ourselves!
AND, we can support ourselves.
So, for this reason, I created two tools to support your rest and sleep. You can download them here, or below.
1. Sleep with Ease. A printable download that has many tips to support your sleeping environment. Only pick one or two to begin with- not them all, because that is just too overwhelming!
2. Sleep is Yours. A recorded audio meditation to play while you’re laying in bed, to help you relax and turn inward and fall into deep, peaceful sleep. I created and recorded it with the intention to have you connect with your beautiful and strong body and fall into deep, peaceful rest.
